A plan and a rendering for 774-784 Grand Street and 213 Maujer Street
Design firm the Meshberg Group has revealed new images of a mixed-use project in East Williamsburg, developed by Kampson Corporation and Grand Street Development.
The building will replace the property currently on the two lots at 774-784 Grand Street and 213 Maujer Street, which take up 12,500 square feet now, according to BuzzBuzzHome. When built, the development will boast 12,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and 63,000 square feet for 69 rental apartments.
Jeff Kurtz of Kamson and Dean Marchi of Grand Street bought the two sites, between Humboldt and Bushwick avenues, for $14.2 million. Prices in the neighborhood have been on the rise — a string of buildings in the area recently hit the market for $42 million, or about three times what the seller paid in 2010 and 2011.
Demolition permits were filed in November. [BuzzBuzzHome] – Angela Hunt
