Robert Duffy, the president of fashion designer Marc Jacobs, is looking to give up one of the skinniest homes in the city. His four-story townhouse at 35 West 12th Street in the West Village just hit the market asking $8 million.

The 2,700-square-foot home is listed with Daniela Zakarya and Frank Arends of Town Residential, Curbed reported. And Duffy is already in contract to buy a nearby four-story townhouse at 62 West 12th Street that was asking $11.25 million, according to previous reports.

Duffy purchased the 13-foot-wide townhouse in 2011 for $5.2 million, Curbed said. Designer Stephen Jaklitsch of Jaklitsch/Gardner Architects and decorator Richard McGeehan handled an extensive renovation of the property.

Just over a month ago, Duffy paid $2.31 million for the Astor Tea House in Rhinebeck, N.Y., which comes with 32 acres and a four-bedroom house. John Jacob Astor IV built it in 1902 to entertain America’s aristocracy. [Curbed]Mark Maurer
